LEARN TO HUNT CAMPS

It takes a fair amount of experience and gear to hunt safely and successfully. We know firsthand how daunting jumping in to hunting can be! Our L2H Camps offer a unique experience curated especially for the brand new or novice individual. We know our audience because it wasn't too long ago that we were those people. We have combined our learning experiences into an a curriculum that educates and develops skills the way we wish we had learned! We will equip you with the necessary knowledge and hands-on skills to cultivate a sustainable, respectful, whole-process way of living. If you're ready to explore hunting in a no-pressure environment, our L2H Camps are for you.  

The outdoor aficionados who volunteer to mentor our L2H Camps come from a variety of backgrounds, including lifelong outdoorspeople and many who grew up without the family heritage of hunting. We all share an ethical, safe and respectful mindset when it comes to hunting, a vast love for wild places and wild things, and a desire to empower future natural resource stewards. None of us are experts, and every mentoring experience leaves us with fresh discoveries and new perspectives! 

Another advantage of participating in our L2H Camps is the ability to "try-before-you-buy" for firearms, gear and other equipment. Try different styles, makes & models to find what works best for you. Our L2H Camps most often utilize public land, as it is a resource we all share. While we are advocates of public lands, we also employ outfitters and guides who genuinely care about passing on their knowledge and skills. 

Finally, but arguably most importantly, is the relaxed and safe environment in which we educate. No matter your lifestyle, religious beliefs, skin color or background, wildHERness refuses to pressure anyone into anything. Our L2H Camps are free from judgement and competition, to ensure maximum development and retention of skills for our participants. We believe that the outdoors are for everybody and every BODY.
